Nominations
The Northern California USA Gymnastics State Administrative
Committee is seeking nominations for State Administrative
Committee positions across Northern California.
The following Members have been nominated and are running for Northern California USA Gymnastics positions
that are a two year period of service:
Zone 1 & Zone 3 Representative Nominees -
Maureen Koehler and
Michael Guzman
Zone 2 Representative Nominee -
P.J. Slater
Zone 4 Representative Nominee -
Roderick Radunzel
Zone 5 & Zone 6 Representative Nominee -
Penny Moyce
Zone 7 & Zone 8 Representative Nominee -
Kimberly Kor
Elected individuals will serve a (2) year term commencing prior
to September 1, 2015.
Criteria for Nominations - As specified in the USA Gymnastics
Operating Code
All Nominees must be:
Professional Members of the Women's Program at least 21 years
old and in good standing for a minimum of two (2) consecutive
years immediately prior to the nomination.
A member in good standing is defined as a person who has
complied with all aspects of the program as outlined in USA
Gymnastics Rules and Policies.
Section L - State Administrative Committee Members (SACM)
State Administrative Committee members must be:
- Women's Program Professional Members in good standing.
- A minimum of 21 years of age.
- Active in that state's program.
Prior to being placed on the ballot, all nominees must sign a document that
verifies that they have read and understand the duties and responsibilities of
the office for which they have been nominated and submit their resumes to the
attention of Evelyn Paradis, State Administrative Chair 32920 Alvarado Niles
Road, #210 Union City, California 94587 or by fax (510) 471-0249 or by e-mail

Section E - State Administrative Committee Member (SACM)
State Administrative Committee members (SACM) shall be be elected by the Women's
Program Professional Members in their respective state.
Additional members may be appointed by the State Administrative Chairman (SACC),
the State Administrative Committee (SAC), or both. Appointed State
Administrative Committee members (SACM) shall serve a one year term which may be
renewed at the discretion of the State Administrative Committee Chairman (SACC),
State Administrative Committee (SAC), or both. Appointed State Administrative
Committee members (SACM) have a voice, but no vote.
Term of office to begin prior to September 1st in their election year.
The call for nominations will begin July 13, 2015 and end 30 days later, at 6:00
pm on August 11, 2015. Electronic Election Voting Place will be distributed via
e-mail on August 12, 2015 to all professional USA Gymnastics members residing in
Northern California; and a voting place link will be posted on Northern
California State Administrative Web-site http://www.norcalgym.org/usagymsac.htm.
The voting period will be two weeks beginning August 13, 2015 and end August 26,
2015 at 6:00 pm. The results will be published no later than August 28, 2015.
Nominations must be in writing and must be in the hands of the State Chairperson
no later than Thursday, August 11, 2015 at 6:00 pm. Send nominations to: Evelyn

Nominees will be contacted by the State Chair by phone upon their nomination.
Nominees must accept the nomination prior to being placed on the ballot and will
be required to submit a resume via e-mail no later than August 11, 2015 at 6:00
pm. This resume should be limited to a one-half typed page. An e-mail will be
sent with all nominee's resumes at the commencement of the voting period. An
Electronic Link will be provided for voting purposes. In order to vote, you will
need to provide your USA Gymnastics Professional Membership Number, Name and
E-mail Address.
State Administrative Committee Member (SACM)
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
Attend and participate in State Administrative Committee Meetings.
Attend and assist in any Clinics if needed.
Attend and represent USA Gymnastics at State Championships if needed.
Have a working knowledge of the Rules and Policies published by USA Gymnastics.
Become familiar with the Operating Code published by USA Gymnastics National
Office.
Establish and approve Drop-back dates for Fall and Winter Competitive Season.
Approve awarding of State Championship bids for Fall Compulsory Season and
Winter Optional and Xcel Season.
Be available for committee work other than that specific to Zone Representative.
